Workshop by Embryotools

Embryotools is pleased to announce intensive hands-on workshops on advanced IVF techniques scheduled for the next months.

All courses are fully hands-on and represent a unique opportunity to enhancepractical skills using the latest technologies in a real IVF clinic setting:

  • 8th - 9th of September, 2014: 2-day intensive hands-on training in trophectoderm biopsy, tubing cells for genetic analysis and blastocyst cryopreservation using both open and closed systems (vitrification and Fast Freeze methods);
  • 25th - 26th of September, 2014: 2-day intensive hands-on course on ICSI;
  • 6th - 7th of October, 2014: 2-day intensive hands-on course on oocyte, embryo and blastocyst cryopreservation, using both open and closed systems;
  • 28th of October (Afternoon), 2014: Intensive course on measurement methodologies: latest technologies for controlling pH, temperature and CO2;
  • 10th of November, 2014: 1-day intensive hands-on course on blastocyst cryopreservation using Fast Freeze closed system.
  • 11th - 12th of November, 2014: 2-day intensive hands-on course on ICSI;
  • 19th - 21st of November, 2014: (Bday hands-on course on blastomere and trophectoderm biopsy, and tubing cells for genetic analysis.

Only six attendees will be accepted per course, in order to provide personalized training and extensive contact between attendees and trainers.

8th National level hands-on ICSI training programme: TANUVAS, Chennai, India. Sep 22, 2014 to Oct 05, 2014

Dear All,
I wish to inform you that the Department of Animal Biotechnology, Madras Veterinary College, Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, (TANUVAS) Chennai-7, India is organizing a 8th National level hands-on training programme on “ICSI” for 2 weeks starts from Sep 22nd, 2014.
This training programme is designed to cover brief theoretical aspects with extensive hands-on training on ICSI and the following topics on animal model.

  •  Collection, Screening and selection of oocytes
  •  In-Vitro maturation (IVM) and assesment of oocytes
  •  Semen collection and analysis
  •  Sperm processing for ICSI
  •  Micromanipulator set-up 
  •  Removal/Denudation of cumulus cells
  •  Sperm immobiliztion, selection and injection (ICSI)
  •  Assessment of fertilization and Embryo culture  

The training course fee will be intimated to selected candidates. Total 4 candidates will be selected for this 7th National level training programme, remaining applied candidates list will considered for next upcoming programme. 
Selected candidates accommodation will be provided in University gust house and University hostel (Based on rooms availability).
