Spread of Knowledge

Although Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) in human is a very young part of science, the impact it has done on the human race in wiping the tears of barren couples is remarkable. The painstaking days of research activities by our early pioneers in IVF are undoubtedly noteworthy. The outcome of their research is harvested by today's medical world in bringing back the joy to countless infertile couples around the world.

Reproduction maintains the survival of the species in the planet whether it is animal or human. Along with the pace of industrialization and it's multi-faceted effects on the ecosystems came the dwindling pattern of human as well as the animal reproduction across the geographical regions. The technology called "ART" can bring the male and female gametes to proximity to overcome the in vivo conception hurdles. However, the chronic exposures, whether it is life style oriented or environmental toxins will keep working on the system at the genetic/molecular level.

The spread of knowledge in reproductive Sciences, the technology sharing in the scientific community, learning opportunities for the young researchers in the field and the humanitarian approach based on ethics and transparency as a true scientist to elucidate the problems and solve the problems is the need of the present day.
